Develop speaker lineup and coordinate with agencies to negotiate honorariums, offers and contracts. Design sponsorship and engagement opportunities between various campus and community organizations. Execute any and all event logistics, including: booking venues, catering, strategic partnerships, marketing and interactive promotional opportunities. Manage staff varying from 8-30+ for a speaking engagement. Speakers include- Jane Goodall, Maya Angelou, Laverne Cox, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Laura Ling, Piper Kerman, Elizabeth Smart and more.

Consultancy & Studio merging culture, art and community engagement.
Developed an internal marketing strategy to assess and refresh the Public City brand and its public facing media outlets. Directed a month long challenge to encourage citizens to explore their cities and share their finds with their communities using the hashtag #PublicCities. Assisted with all other Public City clients and projects – research, note taking and writing.
Clients to date include the Austin Convention & Visitors Bureau, Austin Marathon/Conley Sports, Texas Health Resources, Heart of Dallas, McKinney Avenue Transit Authority, Matthews Southwest and TEDxSMU. public-city.org.

Curated speakers to give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes or less. Produced full-day event with a 3-camera production. Organized a team of visual artists, experience designers and students. Designed engagement strategies around each speaker’s topic to create pre-event buzz, implemented twitter outreach strategy to spark conversations around each topic, and integrated performance arts and audience participation into a day of inspirational talks, new ideas, and calls to action.
TED Conferences, LLC
June 2013 – August 2013. New York, New York.
Co-produced the first ever Global TEDFellows Retreat and Conference in Whistler, BC. Coordinated TEDFellows multi-country travel itineraries with Vancouver-based logistics team to arrange transport from YVR to Whistler. Curated, scheduled and facilitated series of Google Hangouts to connect the fellows across 74 different countries. Implemented a competitive scavenger hunt using the Fellow’s TED.com profiles to encourage Fellows to become more familiar with those not a part of their class. Produced Retreat welcome dinner and aided in all conference activities, talks and workshops. Edited copy for Fellows Program and “Fellows Book,” a 95-page book showcasing the connections and accomplishments between of the Fellows since the program’s inception.
